If you could save a couple hundred bucks a month just by paying closer attention to your bank fees, would you? It's something you don't often think about, but banks are like any other business that charges for its services. In fact, it's one of the main ways banks make money!

 

Checking to see what you're paying (and what you're getting in return) and comparing your options to find out if you can get a better deal could add up to significant savings.

We've done the hard work for you, giving you a snapshot of the costs of common transactions associated with the basic packages at some of South Africa's biggest banks. While all the other banks are already using new bank fees for 2023, FNB will only introduce new bank fees in July.
